Jake Young, a striker for Swindon Town, has been named the November Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month.

Young was a constant threat, scoring with an unstoppable confidence that rival defenders were unable to contain in each of his five games. He finished with six goals overall. Notable moments included a gorgeous turn and finish at Stockport and a stunning turn in 20 yards at Harrogate.

“Jake has been excellent for us, but I’m sure he will appreciate the help of his teammates in receiving the award,” Swindon manager Michael Flynn stated.

“Hopefully he can win December’s as well, as we as a club look to have a successful Christmas period!”

“I’m thrilled to win this award for the second time this season, and I’m grateful to the Swindon team and staff for their efforts that have allowed me to have such a successful personal spell with the club thus far, as well as a good personal month,” Young stated.

“It’s been an exciting last month for the club we are all looking forward to taking our recent good form into the Christmas period.”

“Jake Young is the top scorer across England’s top four divisions this season, even outgunning Erling Haaland,” EFL pundit Don Goodman of Sky Sports stated. He increased his total with a strong November, which made him the obvious choice for Player of the Month.

Jake Young scored in every game in November, totaling six, and no team could keep him out. Swindon needs to continue to get great results from their number seven if they hope to push for the playoffs.

Ivor Davies, a trader for Sky Bet in the EFL, stated: “Jake Young, who is currently on loan, had another fantastic month.” He scored six goals in November, including a game-winning brace against Mansfield, which helped his team qualify for the playoffs.

With 16 goals so far, Young leads the League Two scoring charts, two goals ahead of his closest competitor and 2/1 favorite for the Golden Boot, Macaulay Langstaff. Young is currently rated as the second favorite by Sky Bet at 4/1, but his future is currently unclear because he may return to Bradford, his parent club, in January.

EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch, Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, and EFL expert Don Goodman from Sky Sports make up the judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month award.
