DR Congo has secured Axel Tuanzebe, a defender for Ipswich Town, for his international career.

Last summer, Tuanzebe moved from Manchester United to Ipswich.

Having played for England at the U19, U20, and U21 levels, he will now play senior football for the Democratic Republic of Congo.

2017 saw Tuanzebe’s final England U21 cap.

Tuanzebe has made 15 appearances for Ipswich this season, starting five of the Tractor Boys’ past six games.
