Key Milwaukee Bucks Player Set to Enter Free Agency
Patrick Beverley recently completed a season playing for both the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks. He initially joined the 76ers as a free agent last summer before being traded to Milwaukee in February.
Throughout the regular season, the veteran point guard averaged 6.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, with shooting percentages of 41.7% from the field and 33.7% from three-point range across 73 games.
This summer, Beverley will be a free agent and open to signing with any team in the league. As a valuable backup guard, he is likely to attract interest from multiple NBA teams.
Additionally, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Bucks attempt to re-sign him.
In addition to the Bucks and 76ers, Beverley has played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls over his 12-year NBA career.
His career averages are 8.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 41.3% from the field and 37.1% from three-point range in 666 regular-season games.
Although Beverley has not won an NBA Championship, he has made nine playoff appearances, with 71 games played and 60 starts.
The Bucks recently finished a season where they secured the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 49-33 record.
Despite their strong performance, they faced injuries and were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs in six games.
