During the Detroit Lions’ game against the Bears, two teammates get into a sideline brawl.
The Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions game on Sunday saw some heated exchanges.
A sideline altercation between two Lions teammates during the first quarter of the NFL game at Soldier Field sparked tempers.
After a hit, Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney went down close to the sidelines, sparking the heated altercation.
Running back Khalil Herbert of Chicago expressed his dissatisfaction with Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone’s performance in the play.
As players from both teams rushed to the scene of the hit, there was some pushing and shoving that took place.
Before Lions defensive back Kerby Joseph intervened to remove Anzalone from the altercation, Anzalone snapped back at the Bears.
Strangely enough, though, Anzalone and Joseph wrestled for a short while before separating.
Their brief betrayal of one another may have been caused by Anzalone mistaking Joseph for a rival athlete, though the exact reason is unknown.
That or he was dismissing his teammate to show him that he was in control of the situation.
Things eventually calmed down and the Lions were able to compose themselves to head in at halftime, 13-10 up.
