A significant development occurred on Saturday when star wide receiver A.J. Brown was listed on the Eagles’ injury report with a hamstring issue.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni provided an update ahead of the Monday night game against the Falcons, stating that Brown experienced hamstring tightness during Friday’s practice, which limited his participation, and later ruled him out for the game.

If Brown is unavailable, recently acquired wide receiver Jahan Dotson is expected to take on a larger role. Dotson has been working to integrate into the offense since joining the team in the offseason. Although he had no catches in Week 1, Sirianni expressed confidence in Dotson’s ability to step up if needed. Other offensive options like DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert may also see increased targets in Brown’s absence.

The Eagles will continue to monitor Brown’s condition, and his status for the game remains uncertain. Additionally, wide receiver Johnny Wilson missed practice with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable.

On a positive note, offensive lineman Tyler Steen has been cleared to play despite an ankle injury.
