Perry specifically referenced Schneider’s controversial decision to pull Jose Berrios after just three innings in Game 2 of the Wild Card Series, a game Toronto eventually lost, leading to their postseason elimination.
Looking ahead to 2025, the Blue Jays may consider significant changes, potentially including a managerial shift. With three managers already fired this season, Schneider’s position seems uncertain, and with many managerial candidates expected to be available in the offseason, it wouldn’t be surprising if Toronto decided to move in a new direction.
