Morgan Wallen made his entrance at Neyland Stadium for his Friday concert accompanied by Tennessee baseball players and coach Tony Vitello.
Outfielder Hunter Ensley carried the national championship trophy from Tennessee’s victory over Texas A&M in June, marking the team’s first national title. Ensley handed the trophy to Wallen, a Knoxville native and Gibbs High School alum, as they walked through the tunnel on the north side of the stadium. Vitello wore a Tennessee state flag draped over his shoulders.
They entered through the northeast gate to the sound of “Broadway Girls,” the Lil Durk song featuring Wallen. Ensley lifted the national championship trophy above his head, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.
Wallen embraced coach Vitello and standout players Christian Moore, Blake Burke, Dean Curley, Dylan Dreiling, Billy Amick, Kirby Connell, Zander Sechrist, and Hunter Ensley after emerging from the tunnel. Many of the players were present, with some sitting in the field seats and others in the west tower.
Wallen performed the first of two concerts at Neyland Stadium on Friday, with the second scheduled for Sunday.
He had attended Tennessee’s 6-5 national title victory over Texas A&M on June 24, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, watching from a suite alongside football coach Josh Heupel, basketball coach Rick Barnes, and athletics director Danny White.
