Tyson Terry, one of Nebraska football’s earliest commits for the 2025 class, pledged to the Huskers in June 2023. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman from Omaha North is a four-star prospect, according to Rivals, and has remained committed to staying close to home. In an interview with HuskerMax, Terry discussed both his high school season and recruitment.
“The season is going well, and I’m playing well too,” Terry said. “I’ve been making an impact on defense and helping out on offense, playing center and left guard. It’s been a fun year, especially as a senior. I’m focused on enjoying it and doing everything I can to help my team.”
Currently, Omaha North holds a 4-2 record, with the Omaha World-Herald ranking the Mustangs No. 4 in Class A.
Despite committing over a year ago, Terry remains fully committed to Nebraska. “I’m still 100% locked in with Nebraska,” Terry confirmed. “I talk to multiple coaches every week, and I’m more than satisfied. They’re still recruiting me as if I wasn’t committed. Although some schools showed interest during my early junior year, my recruitment is now completely shut down.”
Terry has attended every home game for the Huskers this season and doesn’t intend to visit any other schools. “I try to visit Nebraska whenever I can,” he said. “They’re always welcoming to recruits, and I don’t plan on visiting anywhere else.”
