The Las Vegas Raiders will present a significantly altered lineup this Sunday, diverging from their previous formations.

With Davante Adams unavailable and Jakobi Meyers expected to miss the Week 7 clash against the Los Angeles Rams, the Raiders are compelled to adjust their wide receiver corps.

On Saturday, the Raiders took action to bolster their roster. They announced the signing of wide receiver Alex Bachman to the active roster and activated wideout Kristian Wilkerson from the practice squad. Additionally, tight end Justin Shorter has also been activated from the practice squad.

Bachman has already appeared in three games for the Raiders this season and is coming off a standout performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers. During that game, he recorded three receptions for 31 yards, marking the first catches of his NFL career.

These roster changes are crucial for the Raiders as they navigate their Week 7 matchup, ensuring they have adequate depth at the receiver and tight end positions. The team is looking to make the most of these new additions on the field.

Shorter joined the Raiders’ practice squad in August after previously being with the Buffalo Bills, who drafted him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Despite being on the roster, Shorter has not yet made his debut in the NFL.
