Pittsburgh — In Week 12, Pittsburgh Steelers’ star wide receiver will be on the field. Although George Pickens has been dealing with a shin injury all week, he is expected to play against the Cincinnati Bengals without any restrictions.
Pickens was an unexpected addition to the Steelers’ injury report for Week 12. He wasn’t able to practice on Day 1 and was limited on Day 2. He participated fully throughout the week and will be ready for action on gameday.
With the offense’s new coordinator, the second-year receiver is hoping for a big performance. After Matt Canada was fired, Eddie Faulkner was promoted, and Pickens and the offense as a whole will be hoping for more success.
Pickens had three games with 100 yards or more in the first six weeks, but in the last four games, he has not gone over 50 yards. In those four games, Kenny Pickett has only thrown one touchdown, reflecting his struggles during that time.
The bad news for the Steelers was that both Montravius Adams (ankle) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) would be missing the game. James Pierre has a questionable status for his shoulder.
