The Tennessee Titans have a new head coach after hiring Brian Callahan. The coach replaces Mike Vrabel, who was fired after the conclusion of the 2023 regular season.
Callahan is the son of legendary coach Bill Callahan. The elder Callahan is a former head coach and is thought of as one of the best offensive line coaches in the league. This is an area in which the Titans need help after receiving a historically bad performance from the unit in 2023.
Now, per the latest reports, many expect Bill Callahan to leave his current position in Cleveland to join his son’s inaugural staff in Nashville.
Mary Kay Cabot, an experienced Browns reporter, said the Browns “should be ready” to lose the elder Callahan to the Titans. Additionally, Mo Egger, who covers the Cincinnati Bengals, also expects Brian to hire his father.
Brian Callahan is reportedly planning on bringing his dad Bill Callahan to Tennessee with him. Titans
Bill Callahan currently presides over one of the best lines in the league with the Browns. Before that, Callahan also coached elite lines with the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Jets. Bill also has head coaching experience, manning the helm with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and formerly Oakland Raiders.
Callahan has been a coaching fixture since the 1980s and would surely assist his son in bringing proven coaches to the Music City.
