ENGLEWOOD, Colorado: A seasoned defender has joined the Broncos’ practice squad.
Denver announced on Tuesday that safety Dallin Leavitt had joined the practice squad.
Leavitt is a sixth-year player who was most recently with the Green Bay Packers. He made 10 appearances for Green Bay this season, participating in 74% of the team’s special teams plays. Leavitt was a key special teams player for the Packers in 2022 and participated in all 17 games for them.
Leavitt played four seasons with the Raiders before joining the Packers. In 42 games, he made appearances and tallied 56 tackles along with four passes defensed.
In 2021, Leavitt played 23 percent of the defensive snaps for the Raiders in his 16 games, which was the most defensive snaps he had ever played in his career.
The Utah State product, who stands 5 feet 10 inches and weighs 195 pounds, was signed by the Packers on November 20.
