Stephen Curry showcased a remarkable performance with 37 points, including eight 3-pointers, while Jonathan Kuminga contributed 26 points as the Golden State Warriors secured a 119-107 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. Klay Thompson was absent due to illness during this game.

Curry, displaying his scoring prowess, shot 12 for 17, marking his third consecutive game with 30 or more points. Additionally, he achieved his third consecutive game with six or more 3-pointers and extended his streak of six consecutive games with 25 or more points. In the third quarter, Curry’s back-to-back 3-pointers helped Golden State take control, leading 69-57, with 15 of his points coming in that period.

On the other side, Tobias Harris contributed 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Joel Embiid added 14 points for the 76ers before exiting the game with a left knee injury after a collision with Kuminga. Coach Nick Nurse confirmed that Embiid would undergo an MRI on his knee.

The victory was crucial for the Warriors, concluding their homestand after two close losses to playoff opponents in 2023. The 76ers, however, suffered their fourth consecutive defeat following a six-game winning streak.

Andrew Wiggins contributed 23 points, and the Warriors, with their 16th different starting lineup of the season, secured their third win in nine games. Dario Saric and Draymond Green made significant contributions, combining for 13 assists.

Looking ahead, Moses Moody is expected to return from injury during the upcoming road trip, having been cleared to practice after straining his left calf. Chris Paul, recovering from a hand injury, is set to begin light on-court workouts wearing a splint and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
