Four players: the Miami Dolphins ought to go back to the retailer where they originally purchased them.

The Miami Dolphins have been slowly assembling a roster that still requires some fine tuning. Although they are making progress with many players, others are not as much.

Before, we examined the Miami Dolphins’ and Chris Grier’s Black Friday finds. Naturally, looking through the shop (roster) reveals players who haven’t quite lived up to their asking prices.

Jake Bailey is a sports wagered.

Jake Bailey was brought in by the Miami Dolphins to replace Thomas Morstead. The reason behind this is the question. In 2022, Bailey had a rough year with the Patriots and found himself in Bill Belichick’s doghouse towards the end of the campaign. The Dolphins signed him after they decided to let Morstead walk.

Morstead, who is back with the Jets for a second stint, will play the Dolphins today. Morstead has been the same reliable self this year, but Bailey has the appearance of that stuffed animal you just found out had a tear in it.

Even though Bailey only makes $1.09 million, the Dolphins ought to have taken a closer look at a slightly less expensive model. Perhaps the better option was Michael Turk, the son of former NFL and Dolphins punter Matt Turk.

Only 11 of Bailey’s 30 punts this year—or 36% of the total—have landed inside the 20. Only two have been touchbacks, which makes that number appear worse and indicates that his punts are not reaching their proper position.
