The Miami Heat’s Haywood Highsmith was involved in an automobile accident after their Tuesday night game against the Orlando Magic.

A man was badly hurt in the event, and his leg was partially severed.

Highsmith was on her way home from the Heat’s convincing 121-95 victory at the Kaseya Center in Miami when the incident happened.

Local sources state that Highsmith struck a man who was helping another motorist who had become stranded in the middle of the road.

After the collision, the injured person’s health is still severe, raising questions about how quickly he will recover.

Despite not suffering any serious injuries in the collision, Highsmith was unable to play against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night due to “personal reasons.”

In a statement, the Heat organization said, “our hearts go out to those who were injured.” They extended their sympathies for those hurt in the tragedy.

The Heat released a statement saying, “We have learned that Highsmith was involved in a car accident heading home from last night’s game.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured. We won’t be making any more comments at this time.

Highsmith has been a major player for the Heat this year, averaging 2.8 rebounds and 5.8 points per game.

Highsmith’s absence from Wednesday’s game and his future condition are still unknown, while the Heat management has not released any additional information regarding the incident.

The team will play its first game back at the Kaseya Center on Sunday against the Boston Celtics.

The Miami Heat and its supporters are praying for the people impacted by the tragic event while the accident’s investigation is ongoing.
