According to reports from Football Scoop, Michigan has initiated discussions with Jean-Mary regarding a possible move to Ann Arbor. While no decisions have been made yet, Tennessee faces the risk of losing another key member of their coaching staff.
This situation might ring familiar, as Jean-Mary previously left Michigan to join Tennessee’s coaching staff two years ago. However, with changes in leadership at Michigan, including the departure of head coach Jim Harbaugh and defensive coordinator Jesse Minter to the NFL, the Wolverines are undergoing staff reorganization.
Under new defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale, Michigan is actively pursuing Jean-Mary to return to their coaching staff.
