Pedri reaches out to Gavi following the distressing knee injury suffered by the Barcelona star.

Pedri has extended a message of solidarity to Gavi after witnessing his Barcelona teammate sustain an injury while playing for Spain against Georgia.

During Sunday’s match, Gavi was forced to leave the field in the first half, with Spain subsequently confirming a significant injury.

There are concerns that Gavi may have suffered an ACL tear, potentially ruling him out for the remainder of the season, and Pedri is clearly concerned for his close friend.

“We stand by you, brother! Stay strong, Gavi. I believe you’ll return even stronger!”

Ferran Torres also addressed Gavi’s injury following the victory when speaking to the media.

“While it was important to secure the win and close out the group, there’s a somber mood due to my teammate Gavi’s injury,” he stated.

“I send him my best wishes and strength. We’re still uncertain about the extent of the injury, but considering his resilience and how he handled leaving the field, it could be a significant setback.”

Gavi is scheduled for further evaluations on Monday to determine the seriousness of the injury and the expected duration of his recovery.
