Despite Ruff’s positive attributes, including his role in developing young players and his personal qualities, the decision was made in the interest of the team’s success. Green, formerly head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, brings a wealth of coaching experience across various levels of hockey. His appointment reflects the team’s determination to regain momentum and pursue success. Green’s debut as head coach will be against the Florida Panthers at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
