Concurrently, it’s been hinted that AJ Dillon, Jones’ running mate, may not be re-signed by the team.
Dillon’s performance has been subject to scrutiny since the 2022 season, with fluctuations noted in his output. While showing promise in his rookie year with standout displays like his performance against the Tennessee Titans, Dillon’s performance dipped in subsequent seasons, particularly in 2022 and 2023.
