Florida State and Texas A&M stand as the sole undefeated teams in college baseball following this week’s matchups. The Seminoles secured a 4-0 record for the third consecutive week, boosting their overall standing to 14-0. Their next challenge awaits on Tuesday against Florida in a crucial showdown. On Wednesday, after a previous day’s rainout, FSU avenged their loss to FGCU from last year by defeating them convincingly with a 19-run outburst, spurred by a grand slam from Jamie Ferrer after a shaky start. Shortly after, they commenced their final non-conference weekend series against the New Orleans Privateers, dominating with a combined total of 36 runs over three games, sweeping their opponents effortlessly.
