The New England Patriots have listed seven players as questionable for their game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Trent Brown, the starting offensive tackle, and Ja’Whaun Bentley, the starting linebacker, who has been sidelined during the course of the week, are two of those.
Due to personal reasons and injuries to his knee and ankle, Brown had missed two straight starts. Bentley, on the other hand, missed time due to a hamstring injury prior to the bye week.
Throughout the course of getting ready for Sunday’s game, every member of the 53-man roster for the New England Patriots has shown up every time. Nobody has yet been declared out of the contest. Evan Neal, the No. 7 overall pick of the New York Giants in the 2022 NFL Draft, will be missed. On November 5th, Neal’s most recent offensive line start was cut short due to an ankle injury.
Two Giants players, including Dexter Lawrence, a second-team All-Pro in the trenches and a reigning Pro Bowler, are questionable for Sunday’s game. Despite having four sacks and 41 tackles this season, Lawrence has missed most of the week because of a hamstring injury.
Prior to their bye week, Brown, Bentley, and Parker did not play for the Patriots. Parker is doubtful for Sunday’s game and has been in the NFL’s concussion protocol since October 29. The window of opportunity for Riley Reiff, a seasoned tackle who has played 45 snaps between the guard spots this season, to return from injured reserve opened last week. He is also dubious about the game.
But following recent light practice sessions, defensive back Myles Bryant and defensive lineman Christian Barmore have escaped game designations for New England.
The standout defensive player, Dexter Lawrence, talked candidly about his incredible career and his dedication to supporting his team and trying to help them succeed in a recent interview.
The player took great pride in his dependability on the field when asked about his Iron Man reputation. He emphasized his commitment to helping the team win by saying that his objective is to always be available and be a key component of their success.
Looking back on his current state of health, the athlete talked about how he overcame tightness that he had experienced after a particular event. Lawrence expressed optimism about his chances for the upcoming game after pointing out that continued rehabilitation efforts have helped to loosen the affected areas.
