Khris Middleton was not available for the Milwaukee Bucks’ thrilling comeback victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. The injury that prevented the three-time All-Star from suiting up looks serious enough to keep him out of the lineup for at least one more game.
Khris Middleton’s Condition for the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat Match
Middleton’s availability for Tuesday’s game against the Miami Heat is unfortunately indicated as questionable on the Bucks’ injury report, which was already submitted. The 32-year-old’s official diagnosis is tendinitis in his left Achilles, the same ailment that kept him out of Sunday’s victory over Portland.
Because Achilles injuries can be very unpredictable, Middleton may be sidelined for a considerable amount of time following this knock. He hasn’t been ruled out of Tuesday’s big game, though, which suggests that the injury might not be too serious.
But considering Middleton’s current injury status, the Bucks should proceed with extreme caution with this most recent injury. Milwaukee probably won’t allow their best swingman to play until he’s almost fully recovered, even if it’s against one of their fiercest Eastern Conference opponents.
Should Middleton be unable to play, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo will once more be required to perform the majority of the heavy lifting against Jimmy Butler and company.
