Mustapha Bundu makes a comeback from injury in Sunderland victory

Mustapha Bundu, an attacker for Plymouth Argyle, returned from a hamstring injury during Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Sunderland.

Since he hobbled off during their 3-2 loss at Ipswich Town on October 28, Bundu has not played. Sierra Leone International had a grade two hamstring strain, according to an MRI scan.

For the first time in a month, Plymouth Argyle prevailed when Bundu came on in place of Ben Waine in the 73rd minute.

Morgan Whittaker and Finn Azaz’s goals were sufficient to dismiss their guests. Finn Azaz doubled the lead with a strong finish after Morgan Whittaker’s outstanding strike had given the hosts the lead.

Mustapha Bundu made his Plymouth Argyle debut on October 25th, when they defeated Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 at Home Park to get back on track.
