Major League Experiences and Tree Lighting Headline Thanksgiving Weekend Activities for the Philadelphia Phillies
For the team’s Holiday Shopping events over Thanksgiving weekend, thousands of fans made their way back to Citizens Bank Park!
On Red Friday, November 24, the festivities began with special discounts at the New Era Phillies Team Store and holiday photos in the Phillies dugout.
In addition, the team held its Authentics Clubhouse Sale, where fans could purchase signed and game-used bases, jerseys, memorabilia, and more.
The Phillies Holiday Sale and Tree Lighting, the team’s largest holiday shopping event of the year, brought even more excitement on Saturday.
The free event featured major league experiences, photo opportunities with the Phanatic, broadcasters from the Philadelphia Phillies, World Series trophies, and all-day holiday specials and sales.
Later that night, at the annual Phillies tree lighting, which also included 1993 National League Champion Mickey Morandini, broadcaster Gregg Murphy, and NBC10 news anchors Erin Coleman and Keith Jones, Phanta Claus made a special appearance with the assistance of the local fire department.
John Middleton, the chief executive officer and managing partner of the Phillies, also made a special appearance.
