Countless 76ers Dropped Against the Celtics
The Philadelphia 76ers will play the Boston Celtics on Friday in an attempt to pick up their play after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans earlier in the week.
Joel Embiid missed the game due to illness, but the Sixers were still able to maintain a close game. Tyrese Maxey scored 33 points to help them close the gap to ten points.
Nick Nurse may need to continue to adjust as Embiid is listed as questionable for Friday’s game, even though he has grown accustomed to playing without the reigning MVP after missing two games recently.

In the 14 minutes he played against New Orleans before leaving, Batum scored three points.
Regarding Springer, he missed the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier in the week and was sidelined for this one as well.
Although Danuel House Jr. and Kelly Oubre are still expected to play in Friday night’s game, those two are not guaranteed to do so.
House Jr. has missed the last three games because of a bruised left quad, and the injury persists.
After returning to team practice earlier in the week, albeit as a limited participant, Oubre is still out of action while he heals from a fractured rib. His return to the court is imminent.
