Dolphins’ injury report indicates. And Achane, Armstead, Holland discuss their status
On Sunday, the Dolphins will welcome back guard Robert Hunt and rookie running back De’Von Achane from their respective injuries. Left tackle Terron Armstead has declared that he will also play. However, Jevon Holland, a safety, is doubtful for Sunday due to two knee injuries. When the Dolphins play Washington on Sunday at 1 p.m. on Fox, they have no players listed as out. Six were marked as dubious:
Holland, running back Chris Brooks (knee; still on injured reserve), guard Lester Cotton (illness), guard Robert Jones (knee), left tackle Kendall Lamm (back), and Armstead. Armstead, though, insisted that he would play. “I’m doing fine. I’m doing fine. “I’ll be there on Sunday, for sure,” he declared on Friday. “I’ll be out there flying around, prepared to experience the bitter taste of a disappointing game against the Jets.” He described his Jets game as subpar, but why? Definitely not up to my standards. Not even close.
No matter what’s happening, that is never the case. Hunt, who missed three games due to a hamstring injury, will participate. Holland stated that while he is hopeful about playing on Sunday, he is by no means certain. “My goal is to return,” he declared. Holland “lost my footing and ended up falling into a frog position and overstretched the inside of my knees” during a tackle late in the Jets game, which resulted in the injuries to both knees.
With regard to injuries, the Dolphins have erred on the side of caution, benching some players for an additional week to prevent worsening of their ailments. That might have an impact on Holland’s decision. Holland remarked, “They’ve been like that my entire time here.” The player’s career and overall well-being are taken into account, as is the significance of returning quickly given the risk of reinjury and prolonged absence rather than waiting another week to fully recover.
That’s how they’ve done a fantastic job throughout my career. Brandon Jones would probably start opposite DeShon Elliott, his former Texas teammate, if Holland is unable to play. Elliott described Brandon as a “very smart player.” “Our love for one another is very powerful. We will benefit from playing together more, and maybe our coaches will feel more comfortable playing the three of us together in certain packages as a result.
REVERSE IT
After missing five of the previous six games due to a knee injury, Achane is back. He injured the same knee after three snaps against the Raiders and missed the Jets game after spending four games on injured reserve with a sprained knee. He stated that “I wasn’t confident I could go back out there and keep playing” was the reason he left the Raiders game.
Pain wasn’t that bad. It wasn’t too horrible… It was me regaining my self-assurance and realizing that I could give it my all and perform to the best of my abilities. I desired to complete it to the fullest. According to the team, he stated that his knee feels normal again and that he is relieved that the injury was not more serious or that it puts him at risk of getting hurt again.
Last month’s MRI revealed no structural damage. “Basically, worrying about what the MRI will reveal is always the main thing when you get one,” he said. “It was a good thing I didn’t need surgery.” Prior to this season, he claimed he had never experienced a knee injury.
SUCCESS TEAMS
The Dolphins defeated a team that was deemed to be “winning” despite not even participating on Sunday. Denver’s current record is 6-5, meaning Miami’s record against teams with winning records is now 1-3 and against teams with losing records is now 7-0. When asked recently what happens to the Dolphins’ mental toughness when they have offensive breakdowns against very good teams, Armstead provided a thoughtful response. He answered, “That’s a good question.” We seem to be acting with the right intentions.
We play hard, we fly around the field. In order to win those big games against those better teams, the penalties, the costly penalties, the big plays that need to be made at certain times have to happen. We feel extremely confident that we can and will, even though the narrative is that we haven’t, which we haven’t.
We run all over the field while playing hard. The big plays that have to be made at certain times and the costly penalties have to be committed in order to win those crucial games against those superior teams. Despite the narrative claiming otherwise, we are quite certain that we can and will succeed.

We are unable to dispute the facts as they are. “Those narratives are entirely legitimately constructed by the outside world. However, we have complete confidence in this building internally. Nobody is questioning “are we able to [win big] or do we have enough?” On December 24 at home against Dallas and the Dolphins, the teams will have an opportunity to defeat “winning”
