Jordan Beyer, the center back for Burnley, is rumored to be a top target for West Ham United in the run-up to the January transfer window.

As per a talkSPORT report, West Ham manager David Moyes is eager to sign Burnley’s Jordan Beyer during the January transfer window.

In an attempt to strengthen his backline, the Hammers manager signed Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart during the summer transfer window, but it’s obvious that he needs more help.

During his press conference yesterday after the game, Moyes made it apparent that he was not pleased with the caliber of defending that was being shown at the London Stadium.

At the center of West Ham’s defense, Nayef Aguerd has had multiple moments of instability, and Kurt Zouma is still prone to injuries.

I believe that a new center back needs to be signed, and it appears that Moyes feels the same way.

West Ham is pursuing Jordan Beyer

Jordan Beyer is being pursued by West Ham talk SPORT believes that a fight for the Burnly defender’s signature in the January transfer window may ensue, with the Hammers going up against teams like Fulham and Crystal Palace.

It’s impressive to read Beyer’s stats with the Clarets this season.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach player has averaged 2.5 tackles, 1.1 interceptions, and 4.2 clearances per game in his 10 Premier League appearances thus far this season. He has averaged 63.9 passes per game over those ten appearances, with an astounding completion percentage of 91.5% (Who Scored).

Beyer, who is physically strong and 6 feet 2 inches tall, seems to be a perfect fit for the competitive style of Premier League football.

Given how fantastic the 23-year-old has been for Burnley this season, Vincent Kompany won’t want to lose him during the January transfer window.
