Adam Schefter offers a Dolphins LB update The injury to Jerome Baker

There was a frightening incident during the game’s second quarter, even though the Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Commanders on Sunday at FedEx Field.

Safety Brandon Jones hit Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker from the side as he was attempting to bring down Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel. Replay revealed Jones striking Baker’s leg while it was still firmly planted.

After receiving assistance from teammates, the linebacker was never able to play again.

Baker’s condition was given a somewhat better update on Monday by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who revealed that the former Ohio State Buckeye had an MCL injury that is thought to be week-to-week.

The Dolphins are on track to host playoff games at Hard Rock Stadium with five games remaining in the regular season. Consequently, Baker would have more than a month to heal before the postseason starts, even if Miami decided to be cautious with him and give him more time.

They could search outside the company in the interim or depend on David Long Jr., Duke Riley, and Channing Tindall to staff the interior for the time being.
