Official offer from the Huskers to quarterback Kyle McCord
On the transfer portal, one of the best quarterbacks has received an official offer from Nebraska. Former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord received a scholarship offer from the Cornhuskers.
In 2023, McCord started every game for the Buckeyes. He completed his throws with 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.
Despite leading Ohio State to an 11-1 record, McCord had a difficult time in his team’s defeat to Michigan. After Buckeye head coach Ryan Day declined to commit McCord as the starting quarterback for the Cotton Bowl, the five-star prospect went through the transfer portal on December 4.
