Update on the Cardinals Michael Wilson and Marquise Brown’s injuries

Browns, Cardinals injury update: WR Michael Wilson news, Dawand Jones still up in air - Dawgs By Nature

The top two receivers for the Arizona Cardinals should be on the field soon, according to their hopes.

Arizona — The Arizona Cardinals are back in action after taking a week off, and they will need to use every weapon in the arsenal to defeat the formidable San Francisco 49ers when they play this week at State Farm Stadium.

That mostly refers to the state of health in the receiver room because elite players like Michael Wilson and Marquise Brown were dealing with injuries before their week off.

Though he was a bit of a regular on the injury report, Brown deserves credit for playing in all 13 games for Arizona, even though he left the game against Pittsburgh early due to a heel injury.

Jonathan Gannon said earlier today, “I know he feels a lot better today than he has the last couple of weeks, so hopefully he’s out there practicing and we get him going and like he’s done all year, make plays for us.”

With four touchdowns and 101 targets, Brown leads the Cardinals in receiving. In terms of receptions (51) and receiving yards (574), he is only surpassed by Trey McBride.

Due to a shoulder injury, Wilson’s injury has been deemed more serious because the rookie pass-catcher hasn’t played since Week 10 against Atlanta.

“He ought to be active this week in some way. Regarding Wilson, who supposedly had a setback in his recuperation a few weeks prior, Gannon stated, “He’s doing good.”

Wilson was in attendance at the team’s Monday practice, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports, while Brown was not observed.
