Miami Dolphins: Mike McDaniel can immediately improve the offense by implementing these three ideas.
In case you missed it, the offense of the Miami Dolphins stumbled miserably on Monday night. However, I think Mike McDaniel can immediately improve it by implementing a few key principles.
Even though I used to be the head ball coach up in the 570 and won back-to-back freshmen football titles, I’m not a professional football coach now. Furthermore, I’m not in South Florida with the team, so I can’t observe how they practice or the players’ habits.
I’m just a guy from up in NEPA who loves the Miami Dolphins and stays inside his house to watch games. I don’t know of any credentials that would shout, “This is the guy Mike McDaniel should be taking advice from.”
On Monday night, we witnessed an offense that was unable to continue once Tyreek Hill and Connor Williams were sidelined. With so many other talented offensive players, that shouldn’t be the case.
They still ran the ball fairly effectively throughout the game, despite the fact that losing four of the starting five offensive linemen is a huge obstacle to overcome.
I believe Mike McDaniel can make some philosophical adjustments to his play calls and schemes that will allow him to quickly address some obvious problems without placing too much pressure on the offense.
I’m sure you’ll bring up their appearance in relation to the Commanders and Jets. Although I believe they can easily defeat those teams, beating the top teams in the league is the season’s main goal. Because of the excellent defense of the Jets, I view Sunday’s game as a must-win so that these philosophical additions can be incorporated into the strategy.
