Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is dealing with a day-to-day shoulder injury, while defensive tackle Reader and cornerback Ivey have unfortunately been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is currently dealing with a day-to-day situation due to a shoulder joint sprain, as announced by coach Zac Taylor on Sunday. This makes Chase’s availability uncertain for the upcoming game against Pittsburgh on Saturday, a crucial match as Cincinnati (8-6) vies to secure a spot in the AFC playoffs.

The injury occurred during the team’s overtime victory against the Vikings on Saturday, and Taylor mentioned that they will assess Chase’s condition throughout the week. The star wide receiver has accumulated 1,156 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in the current season.

On the defensive front, the Bengals will be without DJ Reader (quad) and cornerback DJ Ivey (knee) for the remainder of the season. Meanwhile, Jake Browning, the Bengals quarterback, secured his third consecutive start, filling in for franchise quarterback Joe Burrow, who suffered a season-ending wrist injury on November 16.
