New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito’s fame has soared to new levels following his disclosure of a meeting with fellow New York sports figure Aaron Judge. During an interview with Peter Schrager on NFL on FOX, DeVito discussed the impact of his newfound celebrity and shared an anecdote about a thoughtful gesture from the Yankees star at a Manhattan restaurant.
DeVito recounted the experience, saying, “Two nights ago, I went to dinner out in the city. The table next to me was Aaron Judge. I saw him in the corner of my eye before but I didn’t wanna go say hello, so I waited for the end of dinner. I went to go pay, and the waiter had come over and said, ‘Aaron tried to pay for your tab.'”
Although the gesture itself was remarkable, DeVito expressed greater excitement about Judge being aware of his identity.
