The Cleveland Browns have added a new kicker to their practice squad, as announced by the team.

According to WHIO’s Orange Zone, K Riley Patterson officially joined the Browns practice squad on Christmas Day. Patterson, standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, is currently in his third NFL season and hails from Memphis, as mentioned by the team.

Originally entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the Vikings in 2021, Patterson has since played in 37 career games with the Lions (in both 2021 and 2023) and the Jaguars in 2022. The team notes that he has achieved success by making 58 of 66 field goal attempts and 87 of 90 PATs.

In the ongoing season, Patterson participated in 13 games with the Lions, successfully converting 15 of 17 field goal attempts.
