The Titans have added five players to their practice squad.

Amidst a string of injuries plaguing the Tennessee Titans in the final stretch of a challenging season, the team bolstered its practice squad with additional talent on Tuesday.

The Titans officially announced the inclusion of tight end Devin Asiasi, linebacker Tae Crowder, defensive lineman David Moa, and defensive backs Darius Phillips and Kendall Sheffield.

Notably, the positions of tight end, defensive line, and linebacker have been particularly impacted by recent injuries for the Titans. In Week 16, the team had only two available tight ends, and key players like defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons and linebacker Jack Gibbens were absent, having been placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

In the secondary, injuries have affected cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Sean Murphy-Bunting, along with safeties Amani Hooker and K’Von Wallace.

Looking ahead, the Titans are set to return to the field for their penultimate game of the 2023 season on Sunday, facing the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium.
