Jim Harbaugh to Las Vegas Raiders rumors intensify because of his relationship with Tom Brady

The news that Michigan.Harbaugh had engaged NFL agent Don Yee, who also represents Tom Brady, to court NFL teams following Michigan’s run surfaced earlier this week.

Brady is advising Raiders owner Mark Davis, according to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, who claims that Harbaugh and the Raiders share a common interest.

Yee is a well-known NFL power broker who has represented Tom Brady for a long time. The former NFL player is currently in the process of purchasing from Raiders owner Mark Davis a minority ownership stake. Brady already owns a small portion of the Las Vegas Aces, Davis’ WNBA team.

Given Brady’s expanding friendship and business relationship with Davis, it is highly likely that the former quarterback will be involved in the Raiders coaching search. Connect the dots with his relationship to Harbaugh—the two played at Michigan and currently have the same agent—and it becomes a simple game.

Yee’s hiring alters all of that, and as an NFL insider with knowledge of the circumstances said on Tuesday, Harbaugh’s trade to the Raiders is still very much “in play.”

There is a lot of competition for the Raiders to court Harbaugh. The Chargers, who fired Brandon Staley, are reportedly very interested in hiring Harbaugh.

Additionally, Michigan offered Harbaugh a massive 10-year $125 million in exchange for his commitment to the university.

After the National Championship game the following week, Harbaugh appears to have a lot of options to consider.
