“I am Over Change.” Raiders star Maxx Crosby says, “I am Sick Of Losing” and wants the team to keep playing under Antonio Pierce’s direction.

Maxx Crosby, a star edge rusher for the Las Vegas Raiders, has expressed his complete support for interim head coach Antonio Pierce and wants him to stay in the role after the team’s next game against Denver. Crosby reaffirmed his support for Pierce, highlighting the dearth of NFL head coaching positions and the significance of having a true leader of men.

There are only 32 NFL head coaches worldwide, so you need to find a leader among men, according to Crosby. Furthermore, I fail to see why you would let them leave given that you currently have one of them in the building.”

Wide receiver Davante Adams, who similarly threw his support behind Pierce and said that practically the entire locker room shares his sentiment, followed suit with this endorsement from Crosby.

The Raiders have improved significantly since Pierce became the team’s temporary head coach. Under Pierce’s direction, the team leads the NFL in scoring defense going into Week 18. When compared to the early portion of the season, the defensive statistics during Weeks 9–17 demonstrate a notable improvement.

The question of whether owner Mark Davis will pay attention to the pleas of star players to keep Pierce as head coach through the 2024 season persists, despite the team’s increased competitiveness and memorable victories over division rivals. Pierce has a 4-4 record as an interim head coach, but the players still stress the value of winning and developing a winning culture.

Crosby expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s recent failures and his desire for a winning culture, emphasizing the need for stability and consistency.

In five years, I have only once advanced to the playoffs. It is bullshit,” said Crosby. And we need to decide what our next course of action is. I am also tired of change. I am over losing. All that is important to me is stability and (expletive) consistency. My goal is to triumph.”

The players’ support highlights the discussion about Pierce’s future with the Raiders and the hope for a change in the team’s direction for the better.
