According to reports, Brighton made the 25-year-old midfielder available to Gers manager Philippe Clement. However, according to Belgian writer Sacha Tovolieri, the club is not currently showing interest in the player.

Rangers can sign an experienced international who would be ideal for the position in front of our defense as Steven Alzate’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign; our lack of interest may be good news for two members of Clement’s squad, though.

Two of the players on the long list, whose contracts expire at the end of this season, are Ryan Jack and John Lundstram.

Since the manager took over, the latter has hardly missed a minute for Rangers; nevertheless, Jack’s injury has limited his availability.

Jack has a role to play for European football even though there is a strong argument that he should have been released at the end of his first contract if he wasn’t Scottish.

Steven Alzate is better in possession that both Lundstram and Jack which makes you wonder why Clement wouldn’t want to make something happen and bring the Anglo-Colombian to Ibrox.
