Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder for Leicester City, advised Coventry City supporters to “watch what happens” after the Sky Blues emerged victorious in the M69 derby.
The Foxes led 1-0 at the half, but just before the interval, Abdul Fatawu received a straight red card. That turned out to be a bit of a turning point, as Coventry went on to win 3-1.
Dewsbury-Hall advised City supporters to let their Coventry counterparts “have their day” and stated that clubs that defeated Leicester probably felt like they had “won promotion themselves” after the game.
