Titans Seek Interview with Panthers’ Thomas Brown
NASHVILLE — Thomas Brown, the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers, is among the ten individuals slated for interviews for the Tennessee Titans’ coaching position, according to ESPN’s Kimberley A. Martin.
During the previous offseason, Brown was a candidate for the Houston Texans role, which ultimately went to DeMeco Ryans. Commencing his NFL coaching journey in 2020 with the Los Angeles Rams, Brown had spent a decade in college football, including two stints at his alma mater, the University of Georgia. Before taking on the role of Panthers’ offensive coordinator, he served as the assistant head coach under Sean McVay with the Rams.
To date, the Titans have interviewed four candidates: Brian Callahan, the offensive coordinator for the Bengals, Mike Kafka, the offensive coordinator for the Giants, Antonio Pierce, the interim coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, and Mike MacDonald, the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.
Dan Quinn, the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, is set for a virtual interview on Wednesday, as various sources have reported. The Titans have also requested interviews with Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson from the Detroit Lions, Bobby Slowik from the Houston Texans, and Brian Johnson from the Philadelphia Eagles.
