Despite sending two 11-plus win teams to the postseason, the NFC East is the only division that will not be represented in the Divisional Round of the 2024 NFL playoffs.
Disappointing finishes for both the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have raised questions about their head coaches. And with the Washington Commanders moving on from Ron Rivera, it’s conceivable that Brian Daboll will be the only returning head coach in the division next season.
On the latest episode of the NFC East Mixtape podcast, RJ Ochoa from Blogging The Boys and I discussed what’s next for the Eagles and the Cowboys. We took our shot at rankings the following four options from most to least likely:
1) Nick Sirianni is gone, Mike McCarthy is gone
2) Nick Sirianni is gone, Mike McCarthy stays
3) Nick Sirianni stays, Mike McCarthy is gone
4) Nick Sirianni stays, Mike McCarthy stays
Funny enough, RJ thinks Sirianni is more likely to stay and I think McCarthy is more likely to stay.
What say you? How would you rank the likelihood of those four scenarios? Scroll down to the comments below and leave your answer.
