Marquez Callaway, a wide receiver from the Tennessee Vols, was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday to a reserves/futures contract.

In 2023, Callaway—who played for the New Orleans Saints for his first three seasons in the NFL—was affiliated with the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Saints.

The former Vol’s finest season occurred in 2021, when he was a vital member of the Saints and caught 46 passes for 698 yards and six scores.

Callaway, a Tennessee player from 2016 to 2019, did not have any stats in 2023, despite playing a few games for the Saints in the latter part of the season.

Callaway will be counted against the Steelers’ 90-man offseason roster because of his reserves/future contract, but he won’t have a formal contract until the new league year starts in March.
