Titans ask former Georgia RB for an interview
According to a report by Kimberly Martin, Thomas Brown, a former running back for the Georgia Bulldogs, was asked to speak with the Tennessee Titans.
Following a poor season, the Titans sacked head coach Mike Vrabel and are now searching for a new leader. Brown is being considered for an interview with Tennessee to fill the role of head coach.
In 2023, Brown worked for the Carolina Panthers as their offensive coordinator. He called plays for the Panthers for a segment of the Carolina team’s season. In 2023, the Panthers had a great deal of difficulty with rookie quarterback Bryce Young.
Frank Reich, the head coach of the Carolina Panthers, was fired in the middle of the season. Carolina is in the process of hiring a head coach.
Before taking over as Carolina’s offensive coordinator, Brown worked as Sean McVay’s offensive coach with the Los Angeles Rams. In the NFL, he is held in the highest regard.
Brown is also being interviewed by the Chicago Bears for the position of offensive coordinator. The Bears have several intriguing offensive assets in addition to the first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
There are other potential NFL head coaches with Georgia links besides Brown. Two additional teams asked former Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Todd Monken to come in for an interview. As the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens this season, Monken has performed admirably.
