After two games in the NFL playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs are still in first place. The outcome was the same as it had been in previous years when Patrick Mahomes and company faced the Buffalo Bills again following their thrashing of the Miami Dolphins in the AFC wild-card round. Following the Chiefs’ 27-24 victory over Josh Allen and the Bills at Highmark Stadium, Mahomes ran off the field beaming with happiness.
Even though Mahomes has already won two Super Bowls and been named an NFL Most Valuable Player, the future Hall of Famer still has an insatiable thirst for achievement. Additionally, he exudes a sincere happiness that the Chiefs have survived a scare from the Bills, who were on the verge of defeating Kansas City in the playoffs. Rather, Mahomes is now 3-0 against the Bills in the playoffs and still has a chance to win a third Vince Lombardi Trophy.
