Julian Sayin, a former 5-star quarterback, is the most recent Alabama transfer to choose Ohio State.

At Ohio State, Julian Sayin and Bill O’Brien will be reunited. On Sunday afternoon, the former five-star quarterback made his transfer announcement.

Sayin, along with safety Caleb Downs and center Seth McLaughlin, is the third transfer to choose the Buckeyes. Sayin enrolled early with Alabama and took part in Rose Bowl workouts. Sayin was drawn to Tuscaloosa by O’Brien, who just started working as the offensive coordinator at OSU.

Sayin discussed his choice to move with Pete Thamel of ESPN. He’s going to enroll before spring training. Sayin signed up for the site on January 19, which was nine days after Nick Saban’s retirement was announced.

Sayin was a five-star prospect and a native of Carlsbad, California. Austin Mack, a quarterback prospect from Washington, was brought in by Alabama’s new head coach Kalen DeBoer on Friday via the portal. The quarterback group for Alabama in the next autumn will consist of Dylan Lonergan, a rookie, backup QB Ty Simpson, and starter Jalen Milroe.

Since the season concluded on January 1, around twenty-five Tide players have used the site. Since Saban’s decision, ten scholarship players have looked for other opportunities.
