Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics defeated superstar Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks at home on Monday night, advancing to an NBA-best record of 34-10. The fact that Boston was playing their second night of a back-to-back after defeating the Houston Rockets on Sunday added to the Celtics’ remarkable performance; however, Brown and his teammates did not display any signs of exhaustion throughout the Dallas game.
The majority of Brown’s game was spent on the defensive end of the court defending Doncic. Despite putting up his customary eye-popping numbers, the Serbian star had to work much harder to get to his spots while Brown was covering him.
Brown discussed his mentality when defending players like Doncic after the game.
