Everyone will still be thinking back to the Celtics’ Game 7 loss to the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals of the previous season. However, so will Boston’s victory in their season-opening matchup on October 27.
The Boston Celtics have won two straight after losing their season-opening home game to the reigning champion Nuggets on Friday. The team has won six of its previous eight games. Boston is 34-10, which leads the NBA.
The Heat come in with a four-game losing streak that included a crushing defeat at Orlando where they gave up a season-low 87 points in scoring.
