Browns interviewing Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for offensive coordinator position
Ohio’s Cleveland — The most well-known candidate for offensive coordinator has been added by the Browns.
They will speak with 35-year-old Chargers coordinator Kellen Moore, who became available for an interview when Jim Harbaugh was appointed head coach on Wednesday. Moore, the Cowboys’ coordinator from 2019 to 22, will speak with the Eagles during an interview as well.
This cycle, there is a lot of rivalry for coordinators, with six clubs fighting for the best players.
Moore is a seasoned playcaller, thus hiring him would probably require Kevin Stefanski to give up playcalling. Although Browns general manager Andrew Berry emphasized on Monday that he thinks playcalling is one of Stefanski’s strengths, he’s always been open to it for the appropriate person.
