Utah Jazz Set New Date for Rescheduled Home Match Against Golden State Warriors.

The Utah Jazz have declared that the game previously postponed against the Golden State Warriors will now take place on Thursday, February 15. Originally set for January 17, the game was delayed following the unfortunate passing of Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojevic.

Tickets from the postponed match will remain valid for the rescheduled date. This February 15 matchup will mark the second of four meetings scheduled between Utah and Golden State this season. The Warriors are set to visit Salt Lake City twice, on February 12 and February 15, while the Jazz will travel southwest to face the Warriors at Chase Center on April 7 and April 14.

Milojevic tragically experienced a medical emergency during a team dinner in Utah. He was hospitalized in Salt Lake City overnight and, despite efforts, passed away the following morning. Milojevic, 46, had recently joined the Warriors’ coaching staff in 2021, marking his first NBA opportunity after a career as head coach at Mega Basket from 2012-2020 and Buducnost in 2021. He also had a 15-year professional basketball career overseas.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed profound sorrow at Milojevic’s sudden passing, highlighting his positive spirit and contributions to the team and basketball community. The loss is deeply felt by Milojevic’s family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Warriors organization.
