An interview with a fourth offensive coordinator is being conducted by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittsburgh — Arthur Smith, the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, will be interviewed by the Pittsburgh Steelers this week for the position of offensive coordinator, sources tell All Steelers.

Pittsburgh will now interview the former head coach of the Falcons after bringing in quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson of the Houston Texans and offensive coordinator Thomas Brown of the Carolina Panthers over the week. Zac Robinson, the coach of the Los Angeles Rams quarterbacks, has also been invited by the Steelers for an interview.

Before being relieved this offseason, Smith, 41, played for the Falcons for the previous three seasons. Before moving to Atlanta, he spent ten seasons (2011–2020) as the Tennessee Titans’ offensive coordinator after working his way up from quality control coach.

He was the offensive line coach in 2013; the tight ends coach in 2016–18; the assistant tight ends coach in 2014–2015; and finally the offensive line coach in 2019–2020.

Next week, the Steelers are anticipated to resume their pursuit of an offensive coordinator. Mike Tomlin, the head coach, Omar Khan, the general manager, and Art Rooney, the team president, are probably going to Mobile, Alabama for the Senior Bowl, where they will get ready to talk to more prospects.
